Do any of the grand theft auto video games have multiplayer offline?

I know they have the ability to play multiplayer on Xbox Live, but do any of these grand theft auto version have a co-op/multiplayer mode that you can play on a single Xbox rather than needing to play online? none on xbox but in GTA SA their are like hidden 2 player marks...Do any of the grand theft auto video games have multiplayer offline?
I may be wrong but I think that if you get a girlfriend in SA you can do multiplayer
