How old should you be to play grand theft auto 4?No. A game like this is not what you want your 9 year old son to play, a 14 year old shouldn't even be able to play it. The game has strong violence, bad language, and nudity.
The game teach, or should I say preach alcohol, violence, and murder!!!!

If he really wants to play it, you would be better off letting him. that way you can watch him play it and explain stuff. because if he wants to he's gonna play it no matter what you say (friends houses or wherever)

deffinetly NO im 15 and i barely think im mature enough to play it theres so much violence swearing and nudity and your son will be exposed to all of this and theres some highly racist remark in there that your son could pick up i have a friend whoes brother is rasict towards Blank cause of GTA SA

That's still a very young age to be playing a game like grand theft auto. But it really doesn't depend on the age but whether or not he's able to handle the game. If he knows the difference between real life and fiction and knows a game is just a game then it might probably be ok. I was 11 when I started playing the GTA series.

i have played the game and it's very violent and you actually have to go to a strip club for one mission.
whether or not someone should be allowed to play mature games should be based on their maturity level, not their age.
NO MAN!!! That why we game labels for a reason! It rated "M" and your son is 9 year old. If he take in influence from that video game. That make you bad parents. Let him play Rated E, E+10, to T. Just remember to look on the back and see if suitable for you son to play.
GTA cause alot of teenagers to go jail, and we don't hear from the goverment complaining why children are playing rated "M" video games.
Absolutely not I am 16 years old and my parents barely approve of the GTA series. A 9 year old would not understand it. Personally I think that they are a waste of time and teach a person nothing but how to drink alcohol, smoke, and murder.

Llegaly 2 play mature games u need 2 be 17 or older but if he enjoys da game just let him play it
There is really no appropriate age to play GTA 4 or any other GTA game. There is absolutely no redeeming value to it at all.
