What are the features of Grand Theft Auto? Is rape really a game feature?

I'm doing a research paper arguing for both sides of video games. But I want to know for certain does Grand Theft Auto allow virtual rape? if not, are there any games that do? the research I've conducted argue that Grand Theft Auto does while other research says Grand Theft Auto doesn't have that because America doesn't allow any stores to sell games that include virtual rape.What are the features of Grand Theft Auto? The last few (Vice City, San Andreas and GTA IV) certainly don't, and I'd be very surprised if the earlier ones did either, as the backlash would be enormous. There are a couple of Japanese games that do, but I don't think they are available outside Japan (Wikipedia has info. on these).

The earliest example of such a game that I can think of is the infamous "Custer's Revenge" for the old Atari 2600, which appears regularly in lists of the worst games ever made.
No Grand Theft Auto game contains any depiction of rape, or any sexual activity for that matter, much less player-controlled. All depictions of sex in the series take place off screen and are only referenced in dialogue, and are presumed consensual by both parties. GTA, as far as I know, doesn't have any virtual rape shown, in the original releases of the game.



Although there is a mod on San Andreas that basically lets you have sex with virtual female characters, but has been banned if I remember correctly.



America also has rules on marketing their games. They wouldn't just show some rape-then-go-off like-that scenarios.

Oh in GTA IV you sort of can. you can pick up a hoe on the street. pay her for ( you know what) and then when she gets out of fthe car you can kill her. so yeah you can rape. there's a Japanese game called "rapelay" where the whole object is to rape a woman and her daughters. They don't make it anymore, because it's been banned. But and internet search can find downloadable versions.
