Simple just copy the file thats already in the directory I dunno say for example its a DAT file just right click and copy and place it in a folder.
If it is like a car mod get a programme called SAMi and tell it to make a backup.
Also SAMi is crap at everything else
Also put that DAT file into the directory (Whichever) or the game will not respond.

I'm looking for a PS2 game that's similar to Grand Theft Auto. When I say similar I'm looking at how you can take your character and steel other peoples cars along with beating up people. Some type of interaction game, that may also invole levels. I know the Simpons game is similar, where you are a different Simpsons character in each level and your character can hitch a ride with anyone who they happen to flag down, along with their own car. Ok. To hail a cab you need to make sure there is one on the around. When you see one hold in LB. The cab should pull over and stop. Then just walk up to it and hold Y and Niko will get in the car. The cab won't stop if someone else is already in the cab. But if the cab is stopped, and somebody else is in the cab, just walk up to it and hold Y and Niko will pull the guy out and get in. It is very similar, in some ways it is better as you have a grapple hook that can shoot on to vehicles that are far away and zoom to them and jack them with ease (even helicopters in the air which is cool), and you can kill enemies with the hook too, it is a lot of fun to mess around with. I would rate it 9/10 and if you can grab it for $5 that is a really good price i am amazed you can get it that cheap actually.
The environment is huge like in gta and varies a lot unlike gta, there are desserts, jungles and snowy mountains check out this map www.justcause.com/panau

As a mother I am disgusted. We cant let game developers corrupt our children by promoting murder and crime. The people at Activision have really taken this too far with the Grand Theft Auto game. We cant let there be a Grand Theft Auto 2.

Unfortunately the video game market seems to cater to this kind of trash games because it's what teenagers seem to want and think is cool. Since they make up a good percentage of what gets created and sold it's going to be hard to stop unless you can convince single handedly every teenager in America to stop buying those kinds of games- which I don't think is going to happen. The best line of defense is at your front door. Don't allow it in your home. You're the parent here, not your son.

I also disagree with the game. I find it to be a disgrace. However, if he is playing the game in your home he must have gotten it from somewhere, weather you purchased it for him or he bought it himself. I think once the child is old enough to purchase the game then obviously he should be allowed to play it. My husband play it. There's more than a Grand Theft Auto, I think there's 3 or 4. And as long as my kids aren't playing it, I don't really care. It's rated M for Mature for a reason. If someone goes out and copies the game, they aren't mature enough to play it to begin with. Besides, better virtual people and cars than real ones, right?
No opinion. If a child cannot tell the difference between the real world and a game, there is a huge problem - and it's not with the game.
You are the parent. If you don't want your son sitting on the couch all day playing games, limit his play time. Simple as that. And games have ratings on them. I agree with "Blue Eyes" once you allow your child to have a video game in the house it's up to you to monitor what games come in and out of your home, your the parent you set the rules, just like you should be monitoring who your child's friends are and what they watch on TV, they can only do what you allow them do do......also video games have a parental advisory notice for a reason!!!

Unfortunately the video game market seems to cater to this kind of trash games because it's what teenagers seem to want and think is cool. Since they make up a good percentage of what gets created and sold it's going to be hard to stop unless you can convince single handedly every teenager in America to stop buying those kinds of games- which I don't think is going to happen. The best line of defense is at your front door. Don't allow it in your home. You're the parent here, not your son.

As for needing more games like Wii Music, etc, how about just encouraging him to go outside? My older 2 sons play games but also play outside and the 12yr old also plays the guitar (thats real music, not computer music...)

If you don't like the game don't let him play it. My brother plays it and he's a really sweet kid, he just likes the game. He is not 'corrupt' in any way. He's almost finished school and Mum has brought him up not to want to sit on the couch and play it all day, he does other things like goes to the beach and skating and he plays the guitar.
They've already made GTA 4 + 2 that aren't numbered.
There's also Saints Row and Saints Row2 which are basically the same.
I also disagree with the game. I find it to be a disgrace. However, if he is playing the game in your home he must have gotten it from somewhere, weather you purchased it for him or he bought it himself. I think once the child is old enough to purchase the game then obviously he should be allowed to play it. Or a different approach to the situation would be to say it is your house where you pay the bills so tell your child that he is not allow those types of games in your home. Once he has his own place he can play them as much as he wants..

No, you don't need it. The reason they've put the games on disc is so they can make money from people that don't have Live but want the game. All you need is the Liberty City disc and you're good to go, you don't even need a copy of GTA4.

I live in ireland by the way, and for Christmas I got an Xbox 360. I then found out that old Xbox games work on the Xbox 360! You must defeat them all in order to claim the territory. Once you claim it, you must be careful that a rival gang doesn't come to take their territory back. If this is the case, you will be alerted and given a timer to get to your territory and defend it. You need to complete some more of the storymode. If you haven't unlocked the new areas through the storymode than you cannot acces those areas without getting stars. What does Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City lack?
I know that Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City is Grand Theft Auto: The Ballad of Gay Tony and Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned are combined in to one, but i feel like something is lacking in the Episodes From Liberty City because I don't how can two CD fit into one. The two wernt really CDs in the first place. They were both DLC. Like Half of a CD. So the two halfs equal a CD. Yes the story isnt as long as the orginal GTA:IV but there DLC they wernt suppose to be very very long.

Hello, it is very likely that you are playing a pirated version of the game. Rockstar implemented this as a new kind of copyright protection.

And instead of selling drugs and beating people up for money they should work at an underwater fast food restaurant. I also think that most of the characters should be like animals and stuff, except the main guy you play. He should be something random, like not human, maybe even not a normal living thing. Maybe the storyline could be someone escaping from Cuba and trying to fit in while making a living - stealing cars, dealing drugs, and banging prostitutes.

I'm 13 and have played most Grand Theft Autos to date. Grand Theft Auto 4 is a tad more graphic, but is about as violent as the older Grand Theft Auto. The older Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is more violent, because the protagonist is cold blooded, and cusses when he kills an innocent person.
If he can handle the old GTA, then he can definitely hand this newer Grand Theft Auto 4
Because at 15 he should know the difference between make believe and real life. Do you really think the game will influence him to get in a car and run people over, or beat people with base ball bats? I can't say that Grand Theft Auto is a very good game for your kid. It's more of an adult game.
It's basically, murder, swearing, and stealing. Not very good. If I were to suggest a better game, I'd choose a more fantasy game like Assassins Creed, or Halo, or even Gears of War, or Bioshock. Those are ALL less violent and more fun games.

My parents know the game is about killing, murder,sex, drugs they do care because i'm not allowed to see sex movies and they watch me all the time. (I can see all the other moves) But they know the same thing as i do ''It's just a game!'' you are just murdering a bunch of pixels most of the time im laughing really hard because somethings just look unnatural and really stupid.
But if you are buying it for him and he's playing it all day and you see a few changes in him (he's getting more violent and swearing more) take it away from him or just let him play it for a few hours a day.

What exactly is Grand Theft Auto 3rd Degree and I do not mean the video game?
I have a friend who was convicted of Grand Theft Auto in the 3rd Degree and I am wanting to know what that means exactly. Trying to figure it out on your own you end up with alot of info on the video game and it gets frustrating to say the least.
